Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are Earth’s only hope when they face the threat of an alien invasion. The first Looney Tunes film to be released in theaters and not distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film was originally intended to be a streaming-exclusive release for the Max streaming service. After the company passed on the film, the film was shipped to other distributors, eventually GFM Animation acquired the worldwide distribution rights, and the film was released in theaters. Inside the meteor, when Daffy demonstrates his talent with arms, he pulls the lever to lower the machine and presses it to go up again. Porky does the same later in the scene. However, when Porky and Petunia are strapped in, Daffy pushes the lever forward and the machine still lowers them. At the end of the closing credits, Porky Pig utters his classic statement, “That’s it, folks!” only to be interrupted by Daffy Duck, who tells him that the movie isn’t over yet and that they need a sequel. He was featured in AniMat Crazy Cartoon Characters: Crazy Comic Con Coverages (2022). Mr. Bass Man Written by Johnny Cymbal Digitrax Entertainment through an agreement with Covered Records, Inc. Full title: An Honest Review of The Day the Earth Exploded: The Looney Tunes Movie, Warner Bros. The first ever 2D animated theatrical Looney Tunes movie is a no-brainer for a non-Looney Tunes fan. Well… Warner Bros. decides that for once, instead of leaving their first animated feature film, The Looney Tunes Movie, on the shelf forever or canceling it, they’re releasing their animated film on the big screen… surprising if I’m being completely honest. Okay, so I watched that movie yesterday along with Joker 2 Folie a Deux (which I’ll talk about in another post about that movie) and I have some thoughts on it. Before I start the review, first a few things: For those who don’t know, I am not a Looney Tunes fan, never have been and never will be. I have never been a fan of Looney Tunes in my life because the vast majority of the characters are annoying and not funny (especially the popular ones) and their humor is lazy, uncreative, repetitive and downright annoying most of the time, I have very rarely found a short from the Looney Tunes library that I actually like and made me laugh despite their popularity, and I hate crappy tunes and cartoon communities/fan bases that overly praise these cartoons when other cartoon voices deserve it, and when someone hates and criticizes the bad tunes for legitimate reasons, that leads to a huge bias. double standards. So yeah, don’t be surprised when I hit back at you, if you’re being a dick to me, telling you that I have no childhood and/or no good taste in humor, just because I can’t stand to like a popular cartoon that I found to be very overrated and not funny. However, considering that this is Warner Bros.’ first animated Looney Tunes movie in the world. Screen (it’s very disappointing and disturbing that Looney Tunes hasn’t had a theatrically released animated film like Warner Bros. has in over a century. I’m willing to give it a chance. I’m going to talk about the pros and cons of this movie. This is also a non-spoiler review so I won’t spoil any major plot twists about this movie. So…what do I think of this movie?…it’s okay…not the worst I’ve seen. Let’s start with the positives, Pros. Voice Acting: The thing that Looney Tunes is mostly consistent about is the voice acting, all the voice actors/actresses are spot on. They fit the tone of the characters’ emotions, Eric Bauza is perfect as Daffy and matches the tone of how crazy this character is, as an example.
